Emergency Shelter is defined as a temporary place for homeless persons to reside. Shelters may operate on a drop-in basis, where no intake is required or it may have intake and assessment requirements.

They receive basic short-term medical and nursing care as well as social services as they recover from illness.

Lighthouse Youth Services Youth Crisis Center (Emergency Shelter [Singles])

The program is fully staffed 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. 10 - 17 yrs old (18 yr old full time students may enter residence)
